Tier III: Aetherian (highest, most peaceful, stable, calm, enlightened, sapient, aware)Tier II: Neutral (middle, neutral, can be either peaceful hostile, or ambiguous depending on the dimension)Tier I: Shadow (lowest, most hostile and dangerous, chaotic)Aetherian Realm Dimensions are usually high up places, like mountaintops, floating islands, floating temples/temple ruins, clouds that can be walked on (with waterfalls/water pools in the clouds/sky which can reflect stars and galaxies and be really pretty), etc. Existence typically feels very light, airy, clear, and overall pleasant in these Dimensions. They feel like private sanctuaries a lot of the time. You can catch glimpses of beautiful creatures, like golden noodle dragons and phoenix-like/bird creatures and winged celestial felines, all sorts of mythical and ethereal creatures you can imagine.Neutral Realm Dimensions are pretty much what you'd expect. These Dimensions can either have characteristics of Aetherian Realms, or Shadow Realms, or neither. These Dimensions have the highest likelihood to have day/night cycles, or changing seasons, whereas the Aetherian and Shadow Realms most of the time are more constant.Shadow Realm Dimensions are earth-like places, but always in twilight/nightfall, the moon is often showing and can be red or other colors. Low to the ground landscapes, can also have temples/ruins within them, and the lower you go into the Shadow Dimensions you get into things like caves, and eventually you can get into the abyss. You can see distant stars in the abyss but it is not as tranquil as Aetherian equivalents. The Shadow abysses feel like moving through thick air/static and it's hard to think properly there. Dangerous and strange creatures also appear and float through there.

The behaviors of the Entities that originate from each of these Realms typically express the characteristics of the Realm itself.Aetherian/Tier III native Entities are typically peaceful, docile and calm.Neutral/Tier II native Entities have a much wider variety in temperaments, seeming like "wild cards".Shadow/Tier I native Entities are typically aggressive, malicious, and very instinctual/reactive.Entities materialize into existence due to a floating feeling of "intention" in the Universe that is seeking to be played out in a physical form. This is a somewhat vague/amorphous concept that is tricky to describe in words. Essentially, each Entity has a purpose that they come into existence to play out, and the physical form they take on typically correlates with the theme/nature of the intention/purpose.
These themes can be however specific, complex, defined, or vague as you can imagine. Some Entities are aware of their purpose/intention, and some are not, and thus act more "unconsciously". The degree of awareness can also vary - they can have a vague inkling about it, or they can know exactly what it is, or not know at all.All Entity types are predominantly identified by their skull types, though there may be some exceptions in some cases.Canid Entities - materializes into forms resembling a variety of canine speciesFelid Entities - materializes into forms resembling a variety of feline speciesUngulate Entities - materializes into forms resembling a variety of hooved species (whippomorpha-resembling Entities are considered Aquatic-Ungulate Hybrids)Marsupian Entities - materializes into forms resembling a variety of marsupial speciesMurine Entities - materializes into forms resembling a variety of rodent speciesAquatic Entities - materializes into forms resembling creatures that are reliant on bodies of water in order to function. Typically, these Entities are finned and mainly exist underwater.Humanoid Entities - materializes into forms resembling a variety of humanoids, including homo sapiens and other species from the monkey kingdomDraconic Entities - materializes into forms resembling a variety of reptilian species, including lizards, snakes, large dragon-like and wyvern-like creatures, as well as large serpents/quetzacoatlsSaurian Entities - materializes into forms resembling a variety of prehistoric and current dinosauria species, closely linked to Draconic EntitiesHybrid Entities - materializes into forms that resembles multiple classifications, or uncategorizable Entities. Amphibian-like Entities are considered Draconic-Aquatic Hybrids or Saurian-Aquatic HybridsEnigma Entities - materializes into forms made up of non-organic materialElemental Entities - materializes into forms made up of elemental material (i.e. water, fire, nature(plant material), air (like gas or vapor, or other air molescules), light (an intense concentration of electromagnetic binding energy being beamed out from the form, resembling the shape of a biological Entity), void/abyss/anti-matter)

✦ Purpose & Desire
Purpose can be the same/shared across multiple Entities, but be displayed in completely different ways.
For example, Luna's Purpose: to imagine and create.Another Entity could have this same Purpose, but it could look completely different in terms of how they act it out, and what it means for them.It could be to create situations, create emotions, create chaos, create peace, create love, literally create things with their hands/paws, etc.Luna
Purpose: to imagine and create.
Desire: to feel whole/complete.Desire shapes the types of actions taken toward Purpose. It colors it, flavors it.Purpose is static and fixed, cannot be changed (as far as we know). Desire is fluid, and can change at any time.Purpose — Internal
Desire — ExternalAll Purposes are inherently neutral.But Desires can have negative and positive charges (connotations) in their energy, like atoms.Nature vs Nurture: Purpose is nature, and Desire is nurture.
✦ FACTIONS
An overarching theme across Dimensions/Realms is the ongoing battle against the Shadow Realm.
Keeping Class I Entities, notorious for seeking ways to infiltrate and cause chaos in other Realms, contained in their respective Realm is critical for the stability and continuity of the Universe.Due to the manipulation of certain energy channels and "enchanted" objects, more and more Class I Entities have obtained the ability to Realm Leap into higher Realms, a phenomenon once believed to be physically impossible due to the laws of physics.Many Entities from Realm II, III, and above, will encounter strange "counterparts" to themselves originating from Realm I. These "counterparts" being Entities that harbor an opposite Purpose from one another, attracted to their opposition, seeking to overpower and conquer it. Negative charges that are attracted to Positive charges.Due to this ongoing battle, many different groups, factions, and organization whose common goals are to keep the Shadow Entities at bay, have formed together in union to protect the sanctity of the Universe.
✦ ENERGY
✦ Energy ChannelsIn Dimension/Realms, there are an unlimited amount of energy channels that an Entity can tap into at any time, if the Entity possesses enough awareness to do so.These energy channels function similarly to radiowaves. An Entity must match their own frequency to the pre-existing energy channels in order to connect to it and harness the power of said energy channel. These powers are very magical in nature, and there have been no observed limitations to what powers might exist in this universe.
When an Entity connects to an energy channel, it also links them to every other Entity in the universe that is also connected to the same energy channel.
The amount of power an Entity can draw from an energy channel depends entirely on their own personal awareness and will to tap into these powers.The nature of the exact powers that an energy channel gives is dependent on the collective energy of all Entities that are connected to the channel. Because of this, energy channels usually remain pretty balanced and do not grant any individual Entity especially stronger powers than anyone else. It is a shared energy, so it disperses evenly across every Entity that happens to be connected to the same energy channel.
The more Entities connected to one energy channel, the more diluted the power becomes.There have been cases in which an Entity becomes so powerful that they themselves can alter the kind of powers that an energy channel gives. This can become extremely dangerous if an Entity uses their power to mind control the other Entities connected to that energy channel, or decides to try and destroy Dimensions, or even entire Realms.
If such a scenario happens, then other Entities in the universe typically need to band together to stop the destructive Entity and restore order to the universe, or else the entire universe risks irreversible deletion.✦ Energy ShardsEnergy Shards can be collected by Entities. Energy Shards are a capsule of magic energy that can temporarily enhance an Entities' already existing physical abilities/capabilities, or can briefly grant them an entirely new ability/capability when it is used. An Energy Shard is a singular use, however, an unlimited number of them can be collected by an Entity, and there is no limit to how many can be used at once.
Energy Shards can contain all kinds of different abilities. Energy Shards are correlated with each existing energy channel. They can be thought of as a deposit of energy in the universe, a temporary physical manifestation of an energy channel’s power.
Energy Shards appear sporadically across all Dimensions and Realms in random locations. They are semi-transparent elongated octahedrons that are typically, but not always, one solid color.Entities collect Energy Shards by simply touching them. The power within an Energy Shard attaches itself to an Entity’s own energy and acts as an invisible reserve of power that can be tapped into at an Entity’s will.✦ Energetically Charged ObjectsThese objects are incredibly difficult to create, and only a select number of Entities in the universe possess the ability to create them. These objects are created by a combination of an Entity’s ability to manipulate an energy channel, and their will to encapsulate the power of an energy channel to be contained inside of an object.These objects can become incredibly powerful, since by containing an energy channel’s power within a solid object, it creates an entirely new and separate energy channel that only the current singular Entity in possession of the object can access.
If one Entity’s own willpower is strong enough, they alone can create universe-destroying powers with their own energy channel.If the object is destroyed, the energy channel will be severed and dispersed throughout the universe.Currently, the only recorded Energetically Charged Objects are the three amulets that Luna created:Interdimensional AmuletPrismatic AmuletElliptical Amulet
✦ Dimension Hopping
Dimension Hopping is an ability that any and all Entities can learn via deep focus and mindstate altering techniques. It is an elusive skill, and the methods & techniques used in order to achieve it are dependent on the individual, therefore making it unable to be taught to other Entities in a reliably consistent way.
Dimension Hopping is exactly as it sounds, it allows an Entity to remotely transport themselves to another Dimension without needing to find a physical Anchor Point to enter into.Entities can only Hop to other Dimensions that are within the current Realm. Hopping from a Realm II Dimension into a Realm III Dimension is not possible. In order to enter a different Realm, an Entity must physically find a Threshold and enter through it. *The exception to this rule is that Entities originating from Realm IV+ can Hop to any Dimension and/or Leap to any Realm from any location in the Universe.Remotely Dimension Hopping will open up a temporary Anchor Point at the location of the Hop. Depending on which Dimension or Realm is being accessed via the Hop, the placement of the Anchor Point will appear in one of three ways:Hopping to a Dimension/Realm positioned ‘above’ the current one will open an Anchor Point on the +y axis of the Entity.Hopping to a Dimension positioned ‘beside’ the current one will open an Anchor Point on either the -x/+x or -z/+z axis of the Entity, depending on the selected Dimension and its energetic location relative to the current one.Hopping to a Dimension/Realm positioned ‘below’ the current one will open an Anchor Point on the -y axis of the Entity. In most scenarios, this means the Anchor Point will be partially in the ground.✦ Anchor PointsAn Anchor Point is a portal that can be found in any given Dimension, and entering the portal will allow an Entity to access any Dimension that is energetically ‘nearby’.
Anchor Points typically are fixed in one spot, and do not move unless interfered with by magic or a powerful Entity.Anchor Points may appear as:Completely black orbs, similar to black holes in appearanceSemi-transparent orbs that swirl with colorFlat ellipses that float in the air at varying heights and have a variety of appearances. Their appearance may range from being a thin ring with a completely see-through center, or filled with semi-transparent swirling colors, or completely solid black, or one solid color, or one solid glowing color.
*If this type of Anchor Point is opened on the -y or +y axis, it will appear horizontally.Sometimes, not always, there may be different kinds of particles that emanate from the Anchor Points.The exact appearance of the Anchor Point & its particles (if any) typically depend on the nature of the specific Dimension that is being accessed.Anchor Points are always the same size.✦ ThresholdsA Threshold is a physical and metaphysical energetic barrier that separates one Realm from another.
The appearance of the Thresholds are long, endless walls made of fog/cloud-like substances. Completely entering into them will eventually transport an Entity to another Realm, as long as the Entity’s Tier (I-IV+) allows for surpassing the given barrier.
